2026 Leadership Sacramento Class Project Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming the Leadership Sacramento 2026 Class Project Beneficiary. Leadership Sacramento is a program of the Metro Chamber Foundation that develops community-minded business and civic leaders of tomorrow. This year-long interactive program provides a behind-the-scenes view of the issues that impact the region’s economy. Leadership Sacramento is available to a limited number of participants each year, with monthly day-long sessions and culminates in the completion of a community service project to benefit a regional nonprofit organization, project, or cause.

All applications are due January 30th, and you can expect to hear a response back by April of 2026.

Criteria to be selected:

- Organizations must have active 501c3 status and in good financial standing.

-Nonprofit must be headquartered and operate in the greater six-county region (Yolo, Yuba, Sutter, Sacramento, El Dorado and Placer)

- Must clearly outline the scope of the project that they are requesting support with and provide any accompanying budgets, plans, permits, etc.

- Organizations must be active members of the Sacramento Metro Chamber or join as a part of their project selection.

- Organizations must designate a representative to be a liaison between the class and nonprofit.

-Project scope must be achievable in 10-month timeframe.

- Project proposed budget must be aligned with timeframe.

Please note we will not be accepting proposals from organizations who have an employee in the current class.
